They may enjoy the life of this world, but in the end they must return to Us, and then We shall cause them to taste severe chastisement for their disbelieving.'

This world's portion (will be theirs), then unto Us is their return. Then We make them taste a dreadful doom because they used to disbelieve.

An enjoyment in this world then to Us shall be their return, then We shall make them taste the severe punishment because of what they used to defy.

(They take their) enjoyment in this world, but to Us they shall return, then, We shall let them taste the terrible punishment because they were unbelievers'

For them is brief enjoyment in this world then to Us is their return then We will make them taste the severe punishment because they used to disbelieve

They may consider it a means of enjoyment in this life but (on the Day of Judgment) they will all return to Us. Then they will suffer for their disbelief the most severe punishment.

(It is only) a provision in this world, then to Us shall be their return then We shall make them taste severe punishment because they disbelieved.

Their portion is short lived enjoyment in this world but to Us they shall return. Then We shall make them taste a severe punishment, because of their denial of truth.

A little enjoyment in this world! and then, to Us will be their return, then shall We make them taste the severest penalty for their blasphemies.

Some enjoyment in this world then unto Us they shall return then We shall let them taste the terrible chastisement, for that they were unbelievers.

A brief enjoyment in the world then unto Us is their return then We will make them taste a severe torment, in that they have been disbelieving.

A brief enjoyment in this world! and then unto Us will be their return, then We shall make them taste the severest torment because they used to disbelieve in Allah, belie His Messengers, deny and challenge His Ayat (proofs, signs, verses, etc.) .

Some enjoyment in this world then to Us is their return then We will make them taste the severe punishment on account of their disbelief.

Let them profit by the world (while they may) In the end they will come back to Us. Then We shall make them taste severe punishment for having denied (the truth).

Enjoying a little in the earth, they have then to return to Us We will then make them taste a severe punishment, the recompense of their disbelief.

As for the bedouin Arabs around you, some are hypocrites and so are some of the people of Madinah who have become inured to hypocrisy. You do not know them, but We know them. We will inflict double chastisement on them, and then they shall be returned to an awesome suffering.

And among those around you of the wandering Arabs there are hypocrites, and among the townspeople of Al Madinah (there are some who) persist in hypocrisy whom thou (O Muhammad) knowest not. We, We know them, and We shall chastise them twice then they will be relegated to a painful doom.

There are hypocrites among the Bedouins around you and among the townspeople of Madinah, steeped in hypocrisy. You do not know them We know them, and We will punish them twice, then they shall be consigned to a great punishment.

Some of the Bedouin Arabs around you are hypocrites, and so are some of the people of Madinah who are well versed in hypocrisy. You do not know them, but We do. Twice We will punish them then they shall return to a mighty punishment.

And among those around you of the bedouins are hypocrites, and also from the people of Madinah. They have become accustomed to hypocrisy. You, O Muhammad , do not know them, but We know them. We will punish them twice in this world then they will be returned to a great punishment.

Some of the desert dwelling Arabs around you are hypocrites as are some of the inhabitants of Medina. They are persisting in their hypocrisies. You do not know them but We know them well and will punish them twice over. Then they will be brought to the great torment (on the Day of Judgment).

And from among those who are round about you of the dwellers of the desert there are hypocrites, and from among the people of Medina (also) they are stubborn in hypocrisy you do not know them We know them We will chastise them twice then shall they be turned back to a grievous chastisement

Some of the desert Arabs around you are hypocrites as are some of the people of Madinah they are obdurate in their hypocrisy. You do not know them, but We know them. We shall cause them to suffer doubly and then they will be subjected to a great punishment.

Certain of the desert Arabs round about you are hypocrites, as well as (desert Arabs) among the Medina folk they are obstinate in hypocrisy thou knowest them not We know them twice shall We punish them and in addition shall they be sent to a grievous penalty.

And some of the Bedouins who dwell around you are hypocrites and some of the people of the City are grown bold in hypocrisy. Thou knowest them not but We know them, and We shall chastise them twice, then they will be returned to a mighty chastisement.

And of the dwellers of the desert around you some are hypocrites, and so are some of the people of Madinah they have become inured to hypocrisy thou knowest them not, We know them. We will torment them twice, and thereafter they shall be brought back to a torment terrible.

And among the bedouins round about you, some are hypocrites, and so are some among the people of Al Madinah, they exaggerate and persist in hypocrisy, you (O Muhammad SAW) know them not, We know them. We shall punish them twice, and thereafter they shall be brought back to a great (horrible) torment.

Among the Desert Arabs around you there are some hypocrites, and among the inhabitants of Medina too. They have become adamant in hypocrisy. You do not know them, but We know them. We will punish them twice then they will be returned to a severe torment.

Some of the Arabs of the desert around you are hypocrites, and some of the people of Madina are stubborn in hypocrisy. You are not aware of them We know them, and will punish them twice, and they will be sent to a harrowing doom.

And some of the illiterates around you are hypocrites and some of the people of Medinah hypocrisy has become ingrained in them you do not know them We know them We shall soon punish them twice they will then be consigned towards the terrible punishment. ( Until now or as well as We do. In life and in the grave of hell.)

It was through God's mercy that you dealt with them gently for had you been stern and hard of heart they would surely have broken away from you. So pardon them and pray that forgiveness be theirs, and seek their counsel in all affairs, And when you have come to a decision place your trust in God alone, for He loves those who place their trust in Him.

It was thanks to Allah's mercy that you were gentle to them. Had you been rough, hard hearted, they would surely have scattered away from you. So pardon them, and pray for their forgiveness, and take counsel from them in matters of importance. And when you are resolved on a course of action place your trust in Allah surely Allah loves those who put their trust (in Him).

It was by the mercy of Allah that thou wast lenient with them (O Muhammad), for if thou hadst been stern and fierce of heart they would have dispersed from round about thee. So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them and consult with them upon the conduct of affairs. And when thou art resolved, then put thy trust in Allah. Lo! Allah loveth those who put their trust (in Him).

It is by Allah s mercy that you are gentle to them had you been harsh and hardhearted, they would have surely scattered from around you. So excuse them and plead for forgiveness for them, and consult them in the affairs, and once you are resolved, put your trust in Allah. Indeed Allah loves those who trust in Him.

It was by that Mercy of Allah that you (Prophet Muhammad) dealt so leniently with them. Had you been harsh and hardhearted, they would have surely deserted you. Therefore, pardon them and ask forgiveness for them. Take counsel with them in the matter and when you are resolved, put your trust in Allah. Allah loves those who trust.
